APGA NATIONAL CHAIRMAN ENGAGES ONITSHA SOUTH STAKEHOLDERS, EXPRESSES UNWAVERING CONFIDENCE IN VICTORY FOR NOVEMBER 8 ELECTION

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Chief Barr. Sylvester Ezeokenwa, on Monday, [15/09/2025], attended a high-level strategic stakeholders’ meeting at the Onitsha South Local Government Secretariat.
The meeting was convened by the Local Government Chairman, Hon. Emeka Orji (Dike Di Ebube), in meticulous preparation for the upcoming November 8, 2025 election.
The gathering served as a pivotal convergence for the party’s leadership structure within the local government, uniting all 17 ward executives, the local government executive committee of APGA Onitsha South, and key party stakeholders. The primary objective was to fine-tune campaign strategies, foster unity of purpose, and solidify a winning framework for the crucial electoral contest.
In his address to the assembled party faithful, Chief Ezeokenwa underscored the profound significance of Onitsha South to both the party and himself personally. He declared, “Onitsha South remains a core focus for me, for my heart is with my ward and its people.” This statement resonated deeply with attendees, highlighting the Chairman’s grassroots connection and commitment to his political base.
Chief Ezeokenwa expressed immense satisfaction with the palpable energy and unwavering commitment displayed by the party’s operatives on the ground. He specifically commended the exceptional efforts of the Campaign Coordinator for Onitsha South, whose dynamism and organizational prowess were cited as critical assets for the impending campaign.
Buoyed by the strategic deliberations and the evident readiness of the party machinery, the National Chairman projected overwhelming optimism. He stated with great conviction, “With the vibrant energy and commitment demonstrated, we are confident that APGA will secure victory across all 17 wards.” This declaration set a bold tone for the party’s ambition to achieve a clean sweep in the local government area.
The National Chairman took a moment to extend his sincere gratitude to the leadership cadre instrumental to APGA’s strength in the region. He specifically thanked the Mayor of Onitsha South, the Party Chairman for the area, and all the ward chairmen for their relentless dedication and service.
Chief Ezeokenwa lauded these leaders and all stakeholders for their role as the vital pillars of grassroots mobilization, acknowledging that their continuous efforts form the bedrock of the party’s enduring strength and popularity in Onitsha South and beyond.
In his remarks, the host and convener, Hon. Emeka Orji (Dike Di Ebube), Chairman of Onitsha South Local Government, welcomed the National Chairman and reaffirmed the local council’s unwavering support for the APGA cause. He detailed the extensive preparations already underway and assured the party leadership of a coordinated and effective grassroots campaign.
The stakeholders’ meeting concluded with a unified resolution from all attendees to work tirelessly towards ensuring a massive turnout of voters on election day.
